Founder of Reflect Evaluation
Project manager at Reflect Evaluation
I'm working at the intersection of datavisualization, illustration and visual storytelling to turn your dense and complicated content into visual narratives that your audience understands and loves to read (and you too).
I team up with agencies, foundations, newspapers, NGOs and more to create work on topics that matter to me: science, the environment, society. The kind of topics I love to read and learn about.
I speak French (very very well, it's my mothertongue), German (very well) and English (only well). 8 years in Berlin do that to you. The cold and dark winters eventually sent me back home to Nantes, France, where I also share my passion for design as a teacher at l'École de Design Nantes Atlantique.
Maybe we'll work together on your next project?
A little more information
What type of work do you do?
I create print and online visualisations for reports, microsites, booklets and other communication supports.
What type of deliverables can you produce?
I can deliver any print asset from a JPEG to a booklet (PDF). I also create datawrapper graphics, microsites and other interactive formats.
How do you work?
Most projects unfold with the following steps: 1. Reviewing ordering content (making sure the project has solid bases) 2. Research and discovery (gathering inspiration and creative axes) 3. Concept development (working on low-fi sketches that match final output) 4. Refining and coloring (high-fi sketches) 5. Implementing last details and finalising the project.
How long does a project take?
That depends on your needs, my availabilities and your responsiveness when I need feedback from you. Simple visuals can take less than a week. Speed for reports and layout rely on the final format and how far we need to go in the review of your content. Plan at a minimum 1-2 weeks but it can go up to 4-6 weeks depending on the complexity of your project.
Why do you include reviewing and ordering content?
We make sure that your content is coherent and consistent, to ensure the project serves your goals and strategy. During this phase we might see that some elements need to be modified, removed or added. This phase is important as it is a solid base to work from for the rest of the project.
What influences the price?
The price varies according to the complexity of a project: number of pages, simple or complex creative options, wether the creative identity is already available or not, how far you’re in the project, etc. According to the project and formula you choose we can discuss options that work for you.
